Annemarie - In training your dog, why not put him on a 'potty' schedule. That's what I had to do when training my pup. When I first get up in the morning, I take him outside.....when I come home from work and he greets me at the door, I take him out......then at bedtime he goes out.....this is done approximately the same time every day.

Now, when I'm home all day, he does get go out earlier in the afternoon, but it's never a 'necessary' thing. I take him out 7a.m., 5:30pm and 10pm. Usually if he's having a problem, he let's me know he has to go out....he never has an accident unless he's sick and I'm not there.

She is seeking relief from the pain she is suffering, Dear Lord and we know that You are able to relieve it completely or lessen the severity of it, whichever is Your will. We also ask, Dear Lord, that You help her in her desire to housebreak her dog so that she is able to keep him. We ask all this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Subject: [FamilyofGod] Just not feeling at all well anymore

May I ask for prayer. My physical body is really not doing well these days. I am suffering from pain from nerve damage in my back and pain in my lungs from the COPD. The COPD has really kicked in lately and taking its toll on me. I am so very fatigued that some days I can't even lift my head off the pillow. I am a firm believer that God allow's things to happen for a reason.
I just wish that He would give me some rest from the pain in my back and lungs and give me some energy. It is time to plant my flowers and I can't even do something that gives me true joy.
Please also pray that I get some help with my dog. I know that sounds silly. My husband says that if Toby doesn't quit doing his business in the house that I have to get rid of him. Toby gives me such companionship and when I hold him and pet him, I don't hurt so bad. So, I really need him to potty outside so I won't lose him. I know it is a small thing but it is very important.
