| Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares about you. 1 Peter 5:7 Sometimes we shudder when the phone rings, expecting bad news. We get tense now and then with the uncertain outcome of events. When we repeatedly are thrown against the wall of life and when we lack strength to get up in the mornings, just remember that God will not let anything happen in our lives which we cannot handle. When we are floored by burdens, He lifts them up and helps us stand holding us tight to his heart. It is this faith that keeps us focused on the important things in our lives.Do not be cast down by painful memories and difficult situations in our lives.. Leave it to Christ. He is able. He can wipe away our iniquities and transgressions. He gave His life for us without us asking , what would He not give us if we ask? We usually do not think of meeting God in our difficulties. But our loving God comes into our lives and meets us in our true condition of being sick, confused, hopeless and broken.. As Jonah decided to take off in His ways and as Paul persecuted someone whom he never understood fully, we go on with our lives with big plans and take on stuff that hurts God. He waits for our permission to allow Him to take over our lives.He has plans with our lives and we resist Him from implementing it, by our own decisions and our own egoistic nature. Our success in regaining his grace comes when we accept Him and His ways, without trusting in our own capabilities. When everything goes wrong in our life Expect God to rebuild our life and He will. That is Faith. Yield to Him and see how we are filled with the strength of the Holy Spirit, which enables us to face our tomorrows better. Almighty Father, Come into our lives, wipe out all darkness from it .Fill us with the Holy Spirit and strengthen us . This we ask humbly in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen. |
