Re: [FamilyofGod] please pray for favor in job search and family's financial increase
Hi Doris,
It is very difficult to not feel upset when dealing with this type of a situation. I work for a medical staffing company in Pittsburgh, PA and we end up hiring a great many foreign people. The majority work as non-certified nurse aides. Many are attending nursing school at one of the many local colleges. I can honestly say that we don't hire based on anything but experience.
I understand that many companies, especially along the border states, hire based on how little they can pay a person. It is very unfair that this is happening more and more. I understand the language barrier, many of our people are difficult to understand.
I pray that God will provide a job for you. He always takes care of His children. It is important not to let your heart harden towards others. As difficult as that may be. Sometimes the key to that is to pray for them.
Carrie

Hi all. I won't get into the sad sob story, but I really need a job. Here in Texas in the medical field we face reverse descrimination because institutions are highly preferring "bilingual" people that speak spanish and english. Ok, I get it. Where does that leaves all of us fellow Americans born and raised here in this country? Why can't they make them take a basic English course in order to obtain full citizenship. It is as if we are a outcast and stranger in our own land. We can't go to Mexico or Africa and say, "Ok we are here in your land now stop your language and I demand you to speak mind." Please pray for myself and ,many of my fellow healthcare workers in Houston, Texas and all over the states that are being descriminated against. How can we feed our families? I now live with my baby sister and her 5 kids in a 2 bedroom apartment. My dad is a wedlder and out of work due to the same descrimination. This is wrong. Thank you brothers and sisters in Christ...... please pray as I am getting hard hearted towards latino people and immigrants. I wasn't raised this way.
Doris
