Agree. We need to pray for the leadership and the government. and beware of the gossipers in any group. God warns us in Galatians to beware or the backbiters(dogs) He is referring to those who crept into the body of beleivers. i guess there will always be peple who try too instill fear in people. God says fear not. Fear is so binding.

| May I say, with no judgement of others in anyway, that what I am reading on this groups postings, the gossip and hear say, is the reason I quit going to church. It is not that the people are bad so don't get me wrong on that factor, it is that what they do in regard to gossip actually drove my son-in-law and daughter away from God because what they gossiped about was so very painful and not true in any sense. This thing with Obama is nothing more than fear which by the way is Satan's greatest tool. We have experienced a great change in this last election and so need time to build a trust of this leader that was voted in by the people of this country. Gossip is a destroyer and doesn't allow for the light of Jesus to shine through us as He commanded and we are answerable to the Father for our words of destruction especially if it hurts people. There are many ways, other than physical to murder someone. Personally, I do not want to have to answer for having destroyed somebodys life. DO YOU????? Blessings, Annemarie |
