Darkness comes but at night and in the morning when the light fills the earth the night is forgoten. This is your night and your morning is just about the corner. There is nothing too big for our God this is just but a tide that is passing by. God's grace is sufficient for your victory. I will be praying for you and your family James. Please do not give up. Many times I have felt the same. Suicide prevents you from doing what God has planned for you. Things will get better I will keep you and your family in prayer. Please Lord God Give this man strength and healing for his family In jesus name I pray now. Amen.

Please pray for us. My wife, Linda, had a breakdown back about 2003. She is slowly getting better but is not well yet. Our son, Zack, is a high functioning autistic and Chrohn's disease. His Chrohn's disease is not doing good and he is getting intravenous infusions now.

I am so very tired and just want to give up at times. My health is not the greatest. I just started a new job and am having trouble fitting in and getting a grasp of the job. We are having trouble finding a house in the town where the job is, so we are spending most nights apart. I feel so worn out and far from God. I sometimes think of suicide but I know that is not the answer and I can't do that to my family. I probably don't deserve it, but please pray that God will lift me out of this situation and give me strength to keep going...and to keep my old body going. Thank you and God bless you.

Mark Driscoll: Contending for the Gospel.

I love that he mentions that we are to be culturally aware in spreading the Gospel while still contending for the truth of Scripture, just as Paul did 2,000 years ago. Cannot agree more with what he is preaching.

Family~I just had something happen to me. i was standing in the kitchen and i felt a warm feeling in my leg and it turned a bluish color almost and i got white spots all up n down my legs and it traveled up my arms and throughtout my whole body.It itches and burns.I felt lightheaded.I am ok now but also my mouth filled up with saliva, almost drooling.I am ok but still feeling itchy and i feel tired.Anyone a nurse or docter here?I dont know if it was a allergic reaction or what?~shelley

Simple Thoughts On Promises- 100

"Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. (Proverbs 30:5)

Interestingly, there are many who are fond of finding flaws in the Word of God, the Bible. Actually the Bible was written over a period of 1400 to 1800 years by more than 40 different authors. Certain mistakes and discrepencies can be found because of human errors. But the fact remains as Agur son of Jakeh says here- Every word of God is flawless.

Do you question the validity of what you read in the Bible everyday? Of course all of us have many doubts and there are many things that we don't understand when we read the Word. Yet, whatever God wanted mankind to know and understand is very clear. That's because the Bible was written by men under the guidance of the Holy Spirit of God.

Yes, every word of God is flawless because God himself is flawless. His promises are flawless. Do you believe that?
King David, that great psalmist of Israel says,
And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times. (Psalm 12:6)

Again David affirms the same when he says,
As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him. (Psalm 18:30)

Believe in the Lord. Believe in his words. Believe in his promises. That will bring you peace that passes all understanding. God bless you.
