Never lose heart. Be confident that your prayers will be answered. We will pray with you. There are others right here in this forum, who themselves have several other addictions as well. Willingness to quit, is a great step for your son. Let us pray that one day he will break free from this habit. Your love is crucial in this situation.

Our loving Father,

We come to you with Mary, her son and the family members. You are merciful of the weary and the suffering. Father , have mercy on Mary and be her stronghold at this time of trial. Help her son to cast out all which offends Your holy presence. Help him to come to you and strengthen him to realize the addictions to which he is a slave. Step in to the family Lord and bring release from all evil habits. When Mary finds it hard to bear this cross and when she sinks under the burden, raise her up Lord. This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, who suffered and died for us. Amen. Praise be to You Lord now and forever.

I need some help in my Prayers for my son and his common law wife..I pray for him to get the courage to get the strength to quite his intervenous drugs he's got 2 children who depend on him, he was doing this for about 2 years, i feel so helpless seeing him waste away right in front of me. He told me he was going to see an addictions counsilor and go to detox but he always says on monday etc( he keeps putting it off)
His woman is always putting him down and rarely helps him with the kids so that's why he needs to quite what he's doing. i don't what to tell him no more Please he needs all the prayers he can get.
