Character, which is the sum total of our moral and ethical choices, is based in the heart and shines forth in what we say and do. Christians often forget that, from God's perspective, all our talents and abilities mean nothing if we are not going to do the hard work of developing our character. God absolutely cares about character, so much so that it could be said that the Bible is a character textbook, filled with many stories of men and women who have developed and lived by godly character, and many who have not. In this issue of The Sower we explore the topic of character, what it is, its role in our Christian walk, and how to develop it.

Sisters and Brothers,
I love being apart of this group and knowing that when I have a prayer request I can count on you guys to lift me up in prayer. We all know how things have been in the economy. I am really distressed right now because I work in dialysis and July 9 at 8:30 I have to go to Plantation,Fl to take a exam in order to keep my job. I love doing what I do but I have to pass this exam in order to keep my job I want this job I feel like I do make a difference in these patients lives please please keep me in prayer for thursday I don't usually do well taking test so please ask for guidance and wisdom. Please pray for a covering over me and the other test takers that day please.
