Re: [FamilyofGod] Re: Can God Still Use Me?

I am so glad that you enjoyed the message.  Indeed, it is only the Spirit of God speaking through me.  I am very glad that it spoke to you.  I pray this message deepens the relationship you have with Christ.

Maybe you are haunted by your present lifestyle that you know doesn't live up to God's standard. Maybe you simply never see yourself getting out of your current situation -- those that are seemingly out of your control -- maybe it's abuse, maybe a spouse or significant other is a nonbeliever, maybe terrible health concerns, maybe addictions that still plague you, maybe combinations of other things.

Rest assured, my friends, this simply isn't true! Like I said, this is a message that God gave me. I know that those that need to hear this will hear it. I am positive of this.

> You remember Moses, right? Well, let's review a few things. Before he was even born, people wanted him killed. His mother was forced to abandon him as an infant with no explanation so that she could save his life. He was picked up out of a river and even named by someone that wasn't even his real mother. He didn't even know who he really was for a while! He had some serious anger management issues, and even murdered someone as a result of that. His shame forced him into exile for years. And, to put the icing on the cake, he stuttered! Can you relate? I know that I can. It wasn't a grand start for the man meant to free God's people from slavery. Yet, God still called him. God used him. And, here is the amazing part. It's in the verse. It's a simple word that I have overlooked for years. "It was the SAME Moses". The same one that had the awful background was the one that God called. The background didn't disappear. He was still the same

God is faithful even when we are NOT faithful. It is an amazing thing! God cannot deny who he is. He is faithful. He cannot stop being faithful just as I cannot stop being a woman. My DNA shows I am female. Nothing -- even if I tried some silly surgery -- will change my DNA.

If you have confesses your sins, then God HAS FORGIVEN YOU! Believe this. Your sins have been paid for. It's over! You do not need to continue to punish yourself or continue to feel guilty or unclean.
