When God gives you gifts and you use them to glorify him, the people that you talk to about God and they get saved, they are the fruit. If you are doing good things with the gifts God has given you that is considered good fruit.

Are we like Esau now? Do we now make an offering of our fruit to God the toil of our labors to appease God?

What about all our righteousness is like filthy rags to God?

2Pe 1:1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

Tts 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

What did Jesus mean when he said "apart from me you can do nothing? I am the vine you are the branches? If you abide in me you will bear much fruit?" Did he mean "try harder" maybe you'll make it? All you can do about your fruit is observe . Am I producing? Is his life manifest in me?

2Cr 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

The effort we need to expend is that of cooperating with God not trying to do something we are not capable of doing anyway.

Jhn 15:5 I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
