| I pray this has been a good week for you and yours. Monique and I truly appreciate you and look forward to fellowship with you one day soon.       Recently, God has been raking me over the coals for not doing what He has called me to do on a consistent, regular basis. I have two books and three seminars that are partially done, and I have not written or sent out any new studies since last fall. During prayer this morning I asked Him what to do first. He then had me open a ministry newsletter that was in my stack of things to read someday. He told me that now was my season. You see, for years I have known that He was not calling me to pastor a church. Yet, I ask Him often to let me. Today He said I am mature enough and ready. I was like Sarah and laughed at this. I told Him that no church is going to hire a 64-year old man to pastor. Then I read the article in the newsletter He had me open. It was all about the thousands of small churches in the USA who have to hire bi-vocational pastors. Well, because I receive my SSI and a pension, I can be a fulltime pastor while being paid part-time. I would love to lead a small church that cannot afford a fulltime pastor, as long as they can help some. Though retired, as my friends say I am the youngest 64-year old they know. My wife and kids keep me young. If I can find a pastorate, I can quit secular part-time jobs that are draining my time and energy.       I felt God was also telling me to reach out to all my friends and ask them for help in finding a pastorate. That is why I am contacting you today. As you know, we desire to move back to the Southeast USA, but we will consider anywhere in or out of the Southern USA, or even outside the USA. I know you are busy, but would appreciate any help you can give.. As you consider this, remember I have been divorced and we are a bi-racial family (some folks wrongly think this is important).       For your benefit . . .       A Little Bit About Apostle William Zook (MBS, ThD, PhD)       I cannot, nor should I separate my spiritual from my personal stance of faith. Our Statement of Faith is the theological view of my belief system. But, my spiritual faith is a practical, yes personal, matter. Every day in every way I see God, I acknowledge my Jesus, and I know the Holy Spirit. My stance of faith is best summed up in a popular, contemporary song that speaks to my spirit and soul. It's a simple verse, humbly asking God to inhabit my being. It says, "Lord, prepare me to be a sanctuary; pure and holy; tried and true. With thanksgiving I'll be a living sanctuary, Lord, for You." Oh, what powerful words; what a magnificent stance of faith. My faith has been tried, sometimes severely, and found true. I'm certainly not pure and holy yet, except through the saving blood of Jesus.. But, I grow in faith everyday!       I continue to study each and every day. Doctorates do not measure the depth of a man's commitment to prepare to be approved. My study no longer takes the path of organized education, but of an ever-deepening relationship of revelation with God. He disciples me each day through quiet time, through studying His Word, through His awesome creation, through others He places before me. Though holding multiple degrees and a certain amount of wisdom and knowledge, I learn a great amount every time I hear another speak. I can be tunnel-visioned in what I hold to be true, but I am always open to more teaching.       I regularly spend time developing and preparing seminars and/or books, as the Spirit leads. These efforts lead to intense research, study and thought.       Excellence In The Church seminars: Effective Release of the Holy Spirit; Effective Church Leadership; Effective Soul Winning; Effective Spiritual Warfare; Effective Prayer; Effective Church Structuring (Currently developing two more).       Books Authored by Rev. William Zook (Published by Faith): "Blessed Is the Man . . . If . . ."; "What's in a Name? I Am Who I Am"; "Hold on Tight . . . You've Been Chosen!!"; "Positioning Yourself for Success"; "The Wilderness Is Not God's Will for You"; "The Will of God (And, Or, Versus?) The Will of Man"; Books in Progress Are "In My Name They Shall Cast out Demons"; "Send out Thy Light, O Lord".       I have . . .       < Started 49 churches, 5 bible colleges, numerous missions and work with over 1,000 pastors throughout the world.       < Worked with several pastors in the USA.       < Ministered in churches, at crusades and under tents in 15 nations and throughout the USA.       < Developed and taught throughout the world Excellence In The Church seminars with subject titles: Effective Soul Winning, Effective Prayer, Effective Spiritual Warfare, Effective Church Leadership, Effective Release of the Holy Spirit, and Effective Church Structuring.       < Started and had oversight of hundreds of home cell groups with thousands of members in numerous churches.       < Worked in prison ministries in three states and four nations.       < Taught team leadership seminars for churches and businesses across the nation.       I'm much like Paul who says (my paraphrase), "Though I operate in all the gifts of the Holy Spirit; though I possess wisdom, knowledge and vision; though I teach and lead men of all ranks; though I speak with and hear from the Lord; if I have not love, I am a clanging cymbal, a noisy gong." My strengths are teaching, writing, leading and organization. I love to help people in and out of the church.       I am active as a counselor and leadership coach. The Holy Spirit has led me to see that my community is the world. My heart has long been focused on Africa, and I still work closely with pastors there. But, my community reaches far beyond any continent. The USA is our home, but the world is our community. We spend hours on the internet reaching out to many all over the world. We have one daughter, Heaven Lee, who is 9, and one son, Caleb Jacob, who is 5.           We are preparing for the rain!!       2009-2010 will be a powerful season for many who have humbled themselves before God and positioned themselves where God wants them.       Have you prepared for the rain??       For more information  about us, our publications, or our availability to minister with you . . .        Email us at . . .. john_ten_10@ yahoo.com           Remember: NO BATTLE = NO VICTORY . . .
