[FamilyofGod] about overcoming "the vain ways of the fathers"
I keep on mentioning the proverb "Where there are no cattle the stall is clean, but much gain comes from the strength of an ox". Reading about getting over the past, this is what I have seen in life: Many people, who are afraid to actually have a dirty stall (for the world will condemn you for that) don't realize what they have to get over, don't want to face it. They love their "clean stall". They are the first, when someone is in a dirty stall, to say SNAP OUT OF IT, GET OVER IT, CLEAN YOURSELF UP.
So I must not condemn those who say to the hurting SNAP OUT OF IT. For those saying that, hurt so much they are afraid to admit it, and when they see someone actually hurting honestly, in order not to see that their stall is going to have gain, "beauty from ashes" "Oil of joy for mourning" "garment of praise for the spirit of infirmity", they must be disgusted with the dirty stall and rebuke it.
So when you feel in the depths of despair, cannot function, and someone says SNAP OUT OF IT, just say in your head "Forgive them they know not what they do".
