[FamilyofGod] Shalom - hope - rest in strife
Rest, the cravinig of my soul
Hope is the bed where I lie
Firm mattress fulfill's true comfort's role
Soft enough to allow my sigh
My soul can rest there no matter what
Though I feel tossed by waves
Hope based upon true covenant cut
Brings rest to even oppressed slaves
Quilts to warm me of songs of His care
Pillows of confirmed promises
Curled up secure, fearing no snare
I can sleep in the storm with Jesus
For Hope in our Lord is a lullaby
Sung in a soothing tune
By Mother, His Word, Jerusalem on high
Shalom, blessed rest, She will croon.
