Yes George, it was so funny how he said it. I guess "Jesus" is big business to many. By the way in yesterday's Bible portion of the Old testament, I couldn't believe the description of the preparation of the Temple and the Cassocks for priests, all studded with precious stones, gold and silver . God likes pageantry or what? You can learn a lot of words to increase your vocabulary if we read this systematically like this. Some times when the description go on and on, you feel like dozing off. But I try to stay vigilant when it comes to the main stuff. In one year I want to finish the Bible. I think, I can.In the Bible portions we see that God likes precision too. He gives exact measurements. Fascinating. Good one Molly! Hear, O Israel! Yahweh is our God, Yahweh is one!
In Christ, George...

It shows a realistic depiction of the middle East during the time of Christ. National Geographic has done some shows on Egypt too. Beautiful place. I want to visit the Holy Land one day. I was talking to a friend yesterday who had actually crossed the Galilee on a boat last year. He actually paid 100 dollars U.S for that boat ride. He was saying," no wonder Jesus decided to walk across on water."

| Thank you Molly, one of the nicest things about living in Egypt is that I lived in a small town, and a lot of things must have been the same when Jesus was there. But I am not sure. Ok, Clay Jars where water is stored. cooking fires. Jesus was a carpenter, but I do not think they had table and chairs. And bread is the food staple. I wonder if anyone read the details of how people lived in the time of Jesus. luv, barbara

| Hi Barbara, Thanks. Many get deceived by people . We need to be vigilant that we do not lose our straight connection with God, His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. That connection through prayer is what makes us strong against all the attacks of the enemy.. Do post more often Barbara.Great to hear from you. Molly

| Dear Kris, Looks like God just brought her to YOUR attention. Sometimes you never know how effective you are in someone's life. You seem to be caring and loving to her. If she needs more help can you tell us where she lives? Then someone in here will be able to direct her to a group or a person better. May God bless you for helping her. Yours in Christ, Molly

I wrote several weeks ago about a friend who recently came out of a very fundamental christian cult. She has no regrets about leaving but it has been difficult. The holidays are coming and her family has disowned her. She is revealing more about the abuse. She is seeking counseling but counselors are expensive. Does anyone have an internet resource or support group for recovery from this kind of abuse? Recap her story. She grew up in a large fundamental church/cult. They wore homemade dresses, arranged marriages, no television and organized their own schools. When she decided to leave it was frightening and there was fear she would be kidnapped or sexually assaulted. She is in her mid 20's and has been out 6months or so. I spent the day with her yesterday and she is reporting having nightmares that the church members are coming to get her. Again, anyone have a resource or suggestion? Thanks. Kris Email me if you prefer. B.kris95@yahoo. com
