Jesus didn't serve His people to be a bigshot but to show what true humility in the sight of the Father looked like in action. Prayer is one of those behind-the-scenes form of ministering that I believe shouldn't be done in a spirit of bigshotness, for lack of a better term. Boy, if that was the case, I should be showing the whole wide unsaved world how much I "religiously" serve God 24/7? God forbid! I believe that my left hand shouldn't know what my right hand is doing and vice versa, as the Bible says, and whether I attend a big church or a little one, I should remember that He is the Head of the Church just as the husband is the head of the household.
