btw George you make a very interesting point about the road is narrow. I always wondered about small churchs growing up and thinking they must not be growing because they don't have the Holy Spirit in the church. I grew up in a small church. Not a very well known one ( Christian and Missionary Allience Church.) I agree no church or pastor is perfect but there has to be some balance and stability in what they say and do. it just so happened the church my mom had me grow up in was not very friendly or loving so I began going to other churches. I found that many were not loving, more like clubs and clicks than churches. The church I went too last week was non denominational, The one I am going too next is Trinity Lutheran church. Its a very loving small church. I have been there before but its a bit far. Its worth it though because the Holy Spirit is there and it shows in the people who attend. People who genuinly care and make it a point to get to know you. Not just hi good bye.

Thank you George. Its good to hear Christians who don't condemn you for discerning when something is not right. Some would say your putting down Gods chosen ones. I think there are good preachers and bad ones. Not all are chosen of God. Some are self chosen for their own agenda.

Wow! I sure wouldn't go back there. It goes to show you that the devil has been busy.. Not only has he deceived most of the world but he's got most of the church deceived too. Better find that narrow way where few travel.

I attended a second week to this church this past Sunday. The first time the wife spoke as the pastor was away. This time the pastor spoke. I was in shock. He mainly talked about money and how much people should give. He made fun of someone who only gave a dollar and said he must be a Catholic. Thank God I didn't bring a Catholic friend to church with me. Then he went on to say that all women should stay with a cheating husband and forgive them and not divorce them. Also all women should stay with abusive husbands. I wanted to get up and walk out. His preaching was so bad I wanted to cry. He tore my spirit down instead of lifting it up. He ran back and forth across the stage like a wild man working up the crowd. More like entertainment than preaching. Cameras videoing him all around. he is afiliated with some of the wacky get rich preachers from tbn. He continued to put on a show and If they did not respond he made them respond. I feel sorry for the people who are hooked on this church and the pastor for leading people down the wrong path. Health and wealth. No healing services, or prayer services. No need for that. If you are still poor or sick its because you don't have enough faith. Wow what a load of you know what. I called my friend who started going to this small church and she invited me to go with her. I agreed. I can not go back to that church. No one smiled and no one talks to anyone. They seemed like brain washed robuts. It gave me an ery feeling. Jesus and his diciples did not preach health and wealth. This man happens to be a millionare and is making a killing at this church of over 3,000 people. I can't stand it what a person uses Jesus to get rich. It turns my stomach.
