Unfortunately, I know of several who have had a total outbreak of shingles...not just on oneside of the body...hair, face, down the back, down the front...also inside (which is extremely MORE painful). Now, I only had them on one side and it was just considered a minor outbreak.

I had shingles before. The tell tale sign is that the sores are just on one side of the body. Funny disease.

I'm sorry you are scared and you feel alone (though you know you are not really alone, don't you?). I get itchy just thinking about the rash ((((shiver)) )). A dermatolagist should be contacted as they are the 'skin' experts. With Thanksgiving it's gonna be tough getting a private appointment so the Urgency Care is your best bet for now. Stress can cause all sorts of problems, Shelley, so perhaps this is how your body is dealing with it. And just because you ALWAYS eat chocolate, doesn't mean you cannot form an allergy to it at some point in life. Does the rash have any pimple--like bumps? Could be shingles...they can be inside as well as outside. Will continue to pray for your comfort and healing.

thanx val, actually i used aveeno and then i got the rash on my face, it ws wrinkle cream no new meds nothing new to eat and i eat chocolate all the time, val wish u were here, i am scared and alone

Do you think you may be allergic to all that chocolate you've been eating? Bath in oatmeal (Aveeno), use cortaid cream on the rash. I had a severe case of eczema about a month ago and used the Aveeno Bodywash and Cortaid for the rash....healed up within a week. Are you on any new meds? Anything different that you have eaten? Sometimes food allergies can happen EVEN IF you have never been allergic to them before.

| | Family~You know that rash i had that was on my face?The docter first said it was a bacterial infection, gave me antibiotics, it didnt help, so i went to urgent care the doc said it was contact dermatitis, well now its all over my body and in my mouth it burns and it burns and ithches all over real bad, its everywhere now. The cream the doc gave me hasnt helped a bit, now im worse, will be going back to the urgent care in the morning, cant see Dr. Tjan till next wednesday..I took 100mgs of benadryl, it hasnt helped one bit and im a little scared..pray? and any advise woulkd be appreciated. Thanx!!
