I know what you mean. Many people at my church worh there.

You can hear many things and in the work place things can be unfair.

I am slow to agree or get too involved. I do not want to be a decon or even an usher.

People get mad! over little things. Some are big to. A man stood in our church and started yelling wolf in sheeps clothing wonding the flock. He had a white shirt on with red paint for blood. Then sent letters to about 3,000 members saying bad things about pastor. The ushers had to take him OUT! All because he wanted 300.00 for bibles for prisons. How much does it cost for 3,000 letters. print 3 pages each, and postage?

That was all I wanted to know. I did not even read them.

About Joyce. I can not stand her voice. She sounds like my X wife!

Have not listed to more than 5 min. of her so I have no idea what she says.

For me personally, I admit that I do have some very deep concerns about sister Joyce's doctrines but, as with any other teacher, I like to let the Lord be the final Just Judge of all, not that I'm condoning some of the "iffy" things she teaches but because I feel that it's best to let God be God of all. I've had many sincere sisters disagree with my positions on certain doctrines but rather than argue with them I just leave the whole issue in the Lord's hands and let Him do the correcting of whomever He in His sovereign knowledge feels needs it (It took me "forever" to come to this point of spiritual growth after counseling many newbies in the faith but I'm relieved that I've reached it). If I need correcting, I'd much rather it come from God or from my pastor (under certain circumstances) , and if the other one needs it I let Him do the correcting. The bottom line is this: We ALL have to stand alone before the throne of God and give an account to Him for everything and I know that definitely includes me. I fear the Lord...and Him alone I owe my everything! And yes, God loves Joyce Meyer as much as He loves me!
