[FamilyofGod] ONLY GOD!!!
I have a praise report as I am still in awe at what God is doing and has been working out. I really need to share this with a brief recap only so that you have an idea of what I am speaking of... so here is the reader's digest version (I hope)...
As most of you are aware I am standing for my marriage and through that process, despite my own desires, I decided to trust God and leave Him with all the consequences and our care. Through His leading I moved out of our (rented) house (because my husband was threatening to leave if I didn't, and I could not afford to live there on my pay) and I rented a townhouse about 3 blocks away in August.
Anyway, I recently wrote explaining that my husband was moving on the same day I found out, and I was upset that although we had been spending time together, he didn't tell me when (although he said he might move) or where. I kept my mouth shut and just continued to pray and put my trust in God's plan, timing and control of all things. Well, Rich, asked me yesterday if I would help him move his mattress over to his new place after work today, this I did, expecting him to move to the other side of the city. However, although my husband is not ready to come home yet, (this is where it gets really interesting) he moved right into the townhouse in the cul-de-sac over next to me (I can walk to his house). This is the very same townhouse I stood back in June (when I was looking for a place) and prayed about because I wanted it more than the other two (very similar) offered in that same lot, but because it was more expensive than this one I am living in now, I had financial concerns that I brought up to the Lord.
Also this also happens to be the very set of townhouses where we originally wanted to move into before renting the house he is moving out of, but at the time there were none available. I also want you to know that even though I got this smaller townhouse, to which I am thankful for, in August I kept having a reoccurring dream that Richard, me, and our daughters lived in that very same townhouse he is moving into.
I am stand in awe at the mighty works of God's hands and I wait patiently and quietly while He works all things for good because I love Him and am called according to His plan. I do confess that just before this revelation (of what God is doing in the above praise report) I had grown weak, and praying was a struggle. There were times I didn't want to or know how to pray; reading His word was difficult and if it were not for your prayers and the godly encouragement I received, I would have faltered. But both God and you have carried me through and just before all this happened, I had repented of my sin and turned toward God on my knees, gave Him praise in my difficulty and asked Him to do for me what I couldn't in my walk and faith… and still He is faithful always! Praise His holy name; let the earth rejoice, for He is the God of all creation, our heavenly Father, Comforter, Savior, and Friend!!! Thank you God, You are worthy to be praised!
