Wow -- my husband and I were born and raised in Kansas/Oklahoma and know very well the weather there! And, as I've said, I came from a long line of cops so I know VERY well what you're talking about. My husband was in the Air Force Military Police and was stationed in Salina before he got out. My Dad was a detective in Wichita before becoming a Chief Of Detectives there. He was Chief of several other towns in Kansas and Colorado and was elected the President of the National Peace Officers Association before having a stroke and being forced to retire. I'm very proud of him and his brothers who were all policemen.
