Good luck, girl ~!!!!! "God causes all things together for the good of those who love Him" Roman 8:28 -- my most favorite Bible verse and I'll share why...... but as for your meeting with this girl -- the fact that she took the book indicates to me that she's being nudged by God! And you are HIs "tool" to do it. Praise God.
On November 17, 1978, the thought "Romans 8:28...Romans 8:28" kept through my mind. I looked it up and then asked God what He was trying to tell me. He was silent. Later in the morning, my husband was asked by a neighbor to go to a suburb of LA (we lived north of LA in Canyon Country) to help him move his daughters things to a new apartment.
My husband had a heart attack after arriving there -- God CAUSED him, however, by going, to be only a couple of blocks from a Cardiac hospital.
Our neighbor called me and said he was coming to get me. I called my Dad and Stepmom to take care of our young son and God CAUSED me to catch them before their usual Friday night marketing.
Then, God CAUSED the friend coming for me to be caught up in the infamous LA freeway traffic, CAUSING my Dad to become impatient and so we left to go to the hospital. Once there, when they let us into my husbands room, God CAUSED my Dad to have a heart attack and was rushed to surgery where they implanted a recently invented heart pace-maker, giving him another 10 years of life.
When the friend arrived back to ER, he felt totally responsible for all that had happened. I was trying to get him to realize God's will was being done, even if we couldn't understand it. A young priest came into the ER waiting room, took my hands, causing me to stand and said, "We must pray!" Later, when I went next door to the Chapel to thank the young priest, the old bent priest there told me that there was no one that worked there but him -- CAUSING me to know that the young "priest" had been an angel that came to pray when I couldn't. And that his wearing a priests clothing would CAUSE me to go to the chapel and find out that he was an angel sent to pray for me when I couldn't!
When I was finally allowed into my husband's room, I was anxious to tell him about the angel that came to pray -- he, however, was more anxious to tell me that Jesus Himself had come to his bedside, laid hands on him and healed him ~!!
As we talked, God CAUSED a young man from the hospital lab' to come to my husband's room and said that he had been doing the tests on my husband since he had been brought in the previous Friday. He said, "When I ran the tests on you Friday, you were dying -- this morning, however, the tests show that there is nothing wrong with you. I don't understand." My husband replied, "Son, you can't put God in a test-tube... " and then went on to tell him about Jesus coming and healing him. The young man rolled his eyes and left the room...but God CAUSED the young man to come and ask......
Yes, God CAUSES all things to come together for the good of those who love him~!!

God have mercy on us all
In God (ONLY) we (MUST) trust ~!!
