and they shall not depart far from it, I asked God why i couldn't be closer to my kids so my grandkids would know me. well i dint get the answer i wanted, because he said they need to go thru some things to grow up in me and i need you elsewhere.. while i was arguing with God my daughter called me she said mom dont get upset i have got to tell you something. she said corin, my grandson, fell down the steps on his bike and damaged his groin area real bad. they took him to thier dr but he said he would have to go the childrens hospital 30 miles away. and they didn't know if he was going to make it. she was at church and her minister told her to right down his name etc. and go and meet them at the hospital, and they would pray for him. im telling you i was in tears. she said its ok mom hang on a minute. she said they got to the hospital and they hooked him up to a sonagram just in time to see God repairing his body, putting everything back where it should be. and in my ear i heard they are in my hands!! he has no memory of it even happening. my daughter and her family is back in church and i know i dont question God about my helping my kids anymore.

I'd like to add some thought and hope it helps. About having kids, (married 53 this last August <G>) we had two. One is 50 now and the other 40. OUCH! Can't believe we're still walking around.
Anyway -- God makes a promise to fathers (and mothers too, I believe) to "...raise a child in the way that he should go and he will return to it." Now, they may not walk their lives as we would approve, but, we are promised that they will never forget God and return to walking with him. We've seen it in our kids.
