Kim, do not give up. Do not let the demons of doubt and fear in. As has been said before, every time you feel like this, know that it is PRAYER time. Even a short "Lord be with me" is a great start.
I lift both you and your grandfather up to Him. I pray too that He blesses the medical practitioners surrounding you both.
Kim please never ever think that you are alone. God is always with you. And, however far the rest of us must seem, know that there are so many people who are praying for you and are ready to be here for you. Keep venting if that's what helps. And keep praying.
