Subject: [FamilyofGod] In need of prayer...
At the close of work today I was informed that I didn't meet probation after 11 1/4 months of service and I was let go from my job as a Correctional Officer. I had until February 16th which they could not let me go without probable cause. I do not know why god has allowed this but I suppose I should have continued to ask others to pray for me and my family as well as my marraige instead of backing off on my requests. I instead kept them to private prayer to me and my Father despite the difficulty to do so. Presently I am applying for a State Highway, City Officer, and Parole Officer, positions. There is no other other income for my daughter and me, so we need your prayers. I know that our story is like many others, but I am trusting God for His Word, that He promised to provide for us our every need and that we need not look about us anxiously wondering how we will eat, what we will wear or where shall we live. Nothing has come to us unless it has gone through His permissive will first. Obviously, He has other plans for us and this season of our life has ended and we are to enter into a new one. I am choosing to trust Him, His timing and His ways, and I know that along the way we will need encouragement, for I have never been let go of a job before nor been without one.
I am thankful to our Father, for all that He is doing in our lives and through us. Teaching us to rely on, depend upon, and trust in Him for all things no matter how difficult it is or will become. He is our hope and our sustainence, our strength and refuge, a present help in our times of trouble.
Pray for me to have wisdom and discernment during this time and that I may hear His still small voice in the direction in which He wants to lead us.
Father, I give You all the praise, honor, and glory.may Your Name be maginfied and glorified. Just as You were with Joseph throughout all his difficulties, You are with each one of us. Never will You leave us and Never will You forsake us, for You have promised. Making and oath unto the Highest Authority. There is none like You, and I thank You Lord that I can come boldly before You, in Jesus' precious and holy Name. Amen.
Deborah
Oh Lord, hear my prayers and answer my cries for the marriage and salvation of my husband, Richard, our four children, our parents, our family, the Body of Christ, our friends, out leaders, our co-workers, and our enemies.
"Yet, with respect to the promise of God she did not waver in unbelief, but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what He had promised, He was able also to perform. Therefore also IT WAS RECKONED TO HER AS RIGHTEOUSNESS." Romans 4:20-22
