Jobs are very hard to find. Do not take any rejection personally. May be you should just go back straight to the Apparel department, meet the person who contacted you.
Remember to dress as if you are working there, meaning dress according to their style. So seeing you they might think you are a perfect fit. Sometimes when we dress we tend to put on our best clothes. Hiring managers prefer down to earth people. So speak to them honestly and say that you are willing to work as many hours as they need. Be very aggressive in job search. Remember to tell them that you are capable of learning any job that they offer. Go back and try several places with a well-formatted resume. You will get a job, soon I am sure.

i am happy for you too. i just rally hope this is not another trick on u like the last few times... why do i have to be soo unlikeable that no one will hire me. i try to follow up on the jobs i apply at but there are tooooooooooooooooo many the ones i do call just krrp telling me they hire the ones they like. i checked back with walmart and the guy told me i never called him back. which i told him i called and asked for chris because thats whom i was told to ask for on my answereing machine. then he gave me the speel about them having a hiring freezze which i just found out was a lie they just hired a bunch of people. i even gave my name to the human resource personnel and told i was returning the department managers call in apparell at walmart. come on there has to be a job for me somewhere/ i got a family to support and no income. what up with that. i am one o God's kids wher e is His job for me. if i was willing to work for free i'd get work doing child care. but guess i am not good enough for a paying job right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 love u,
