Shirley - thank you for what you said. It means a great deal to me. It was very kind. Thank you again.However - I am not sure that this is the home I thought it was more than a year ago. It has changed. It is less a prayer group than it was in be beginning and less a group about honest fellowship. I remember the days of good conversation and daily questions meant to make people think or just fun questions meant to explore one another. I remember the days of people posting devotionals that were encouraging and uplifting to people around here. I remember how a prayer request would get an instant response where the person knew he or she was being covered time and time again in prayer. I remember when people would send messages to the group if a person wasn't heard from for a few days. I remember getting busy and seeing my name pop up when someone just wanted to know where I was. It made me feel good - wanted - loved - part of the family.We may have disagreed on things but we were family. No one's salvation was called into question - or level of spiritual maturity. But - it isn't like that anymore. It has changed.Because i don't believe or agree with something, I am now exiled and not being responded to. If that is the case, there really isnt a spot for me anymore here - is there? Guess I am not a family member anymore. This really does hurt me. It honestly does.Amanda

You may call this as you wish and believe I am wandering around blinded and under the influence of whomever - however - these are the things I know for a fact ...1) God is not a God of confusion or chaos or disorder1 Corinthians 14:33, "for God is not a God of disorder but one of peace."With God we are meant to have peace that passes all understanding.This whole topic of the end of the world and all that is surrounded with it is one of the most terrifying things for some people (even though some may not be) and it is also one of the most confusing for some because precious few people agree. This one says this and that one says that and hardly anyone says the same thing. Why the need for all the chaos? God is a God of peace not chaos.2) What is essential to the Christian faith is believing that Christ died, Christ rose again, Christ will came again. Those are the essentials. What it means to be a Christian is to be a follower of Christ - to trust him with all my hear - to accept him as my savior - to dedicate my life to Him and to service to Him. That is what a Christian is to me. Am I these things? I may not be perfect. I may mess up sometimes. I may sometimes be the crappiest Christian - but this is what I strive to do ....My passion and my utmost desire is to become a consistent disciple of my Lord and savior in order to live the abundant life that Christ so desires for all of us. My mission is to follow his will, to make him Lord over all my wishes, hopes, dreams, desires, fears, weaknesses, and all that makes me who I think I am knowing fully that I am only completed by the sanctifying grace of my Sovereign God in heaven. That honestly doesn't show much to me. I go to stores that have cameras for the purposes of surveillance. I don't walk and think "Oh my. I am being watched."I just don't. It doesn't bother me. I am parsimonious. The simplest explanation makes much more sense to me. Besides - what exactly does the government want with a picture of my walking down a street? I think they have some other bigger concerns. At least I hope they do. They can film me all they wish - I am pretty boring.I don't believe in the idea if everyone is watching me.
