I personally don't believe it is nessesary to be baptized again unless you want to make a statement by it that you are serving God. I think baptism i symbolic of the inner baptism we get from the holy spirit. You have a river of life flowing through you that is always baptising you. Like Jesus said, "Whoever believes in me will have springs of living water flowing out of his innermost being". I didn't quote exactly but that is the meaning. I get baptized every day with that living water. I need it because I'm always getting dirty.

I have previously (years ago) gotten baptized (fully immersed) and then some time later, I had fallen away from God. I recently rededicated, should I be baptized again? I am also changing churches to attend the church that my husband attends. I have heard of people getting baptized each time they change churches. Just wondering...
