Citizens of Heaven
Philippians 3:20 declares that our conversation is in heaven. The word conversation in that verse is the Greek work politeuma, and it means citizenship. Our citizenship is in heaven. We are citizens of heaven and with that citizenship comes rights and privileges.
Ephesians 1:3:
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Ephesians 2:6:
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in (with) Christ Jesus:
As heaven's citizens, we are most definitely blessed and privileged. However, every privilege comes a corresponding responsibility. If you were born in the United States of America, you are a US citizen. All you had to do to become a US citizen was to be born in this country. You have the privilege of being a US citizen, but you also have the responsibility of conducting yourself as a good citizen of the United States. All you had to do to become
