This is an appeal for personal prayer - something I hardly ever do via my list, but which one of my two faithful prayer partners - whom I come together with most weeks for accountability and prayer support - encouraged me to do.
"The more prayer the better," Chris urged me a few minutes ago. So:
Tomorrow morning (February 14) I will be going into hospital here in Jerusalem for surgery to repair three weak areas in my abdominal wall. The operation is not a big one, however my surgeon did warn me of the possibility of some complications.
I would appreciate it if you would take even just one minute to agree in prayer for a complication-free, successful surgery, and quick and complete healing. Also for the Lord to keep His hand on my family and give extra grace to my wife.
Again, compared to what many people go through, this is really not a very big deal. But we are in His family for many reasons - and this is surely one of them.
So thank you, and may God bless you, also providing for your needs at this time.
