| ____The Power of Love____
Try as it may, the world cannot overcome a son or daughter of our Father in heaven, for Daddy's love is the greatest power in all of creation; its very heart, soul and life force. Without the knowledge and wisdom of God, and the ministering of His pure love in our lives, we are nothing in the Mind of God's perfection.
1 Corinthians + 13:2 "...without love I am nothing" 1 John +4:8"...God is love" John + 4:24 "God is Spirit…" (Jesus Christ)
Galatians + 5:22 "What the Spirit brings is…love."
The miracle of pure love operating within each individual's relationship with Christ is the abiding fellowship of the Holy Spirit within the heart, soul, mind and spirit of God's family- His Church. Such is the experiential gift of God's Holy and perfect essence- living, breathing, suffering, overcoming and loving within and through each of His adopted children in Christ Jesus.
Matthew + 5:48 "You must therefore be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect." (Jesus Christ)
It is not easy to write about the love of God, for the highest heaven cannot be expressed in human language.
1 Corinthians + 12:2-4 "I know a man in Christ who…was caught up, whether still in the body or out of the body, I do not know; only God knows- right into the third heaven. I do know, however, that this same person- whether in the body or out of the body; God knows- was caught up into paradise and heard things which must not and cannot be put into human language."
Colossians + 1:9 "...what we ask God is that through perfect wisdom and spiritual understanding you should reach the fullest knowledge of His will."
The Love of God is the living discipline and experience of being one with His Son Jesus Christ; the being and doing of God's perfect will. For each of us, no matter whom, has a calling from God to love as He loves through the spiritual and material gifts He gives us. Luke + 12:48 "When a man has had a great deal given him, a great deal will be demanded of him; when a man has had a great deal given him on trust, even more will be expected of him." (Jesus Christ)
God's love is the single most important ingredient in the process of salvation. Without love, our ministering would be hollow and ungodly. With love, our righteousness is holy and according to the Law of Christ, for in Jesus, the Law of God is love, and love is the greatest gift God ever gave to mankind.
John + 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John + 15:13 "A man can have no greater love than to lay down his life for his friends." 1 Corinthians + 14:1 "You must want love more than anything else, but still hope for the spiritual gifts…"
Within these three lines of scripture are contained the nucleus of all truth, for without God's love, there can be no truth. There can be wealth, knowledge, perception, wisdom, spiritual power, faith, talent, education and genius, but without the love of God's Holy Spirit, self-realization in Christ is impossible.
Matthew + 19:26 "…for God everything is possible." ("…God is love.")
Oh, disciples can go through the motions of Christianity. They can go to 'church'; read the Bible; give to the poor; wear a cross and get into all the surface trappings of holy living. One can memorize and quote scripture, and wear priestly ropes; sit on thrones on stages and on TV, join the choir, and be a member of the board of elders.
Lip-service Christians can speak in tongues until they're blue in the face, but until one learns how to love the way God loves; until one loves one's brothers and sisters and his or her enemies the way God wants us to, their Christianity is a sham. Until one's Christian discipleship is contained and motivated by the power of God's love, one's station in heaven is negligible. Business Partners There is a vast difference between the disciple and the friend of Jesus, for a slave does not know his master's business.
John + 15:15 "I shall not call you servants any more, because a servant does not know his master's business; I call you friends because I have made known to you everything I have learnt from my Father." (Jesus Christ) John + 13:34 "…love one another as I have loved you, you must also love one another. By this love that you for one another, everyone will know that you are my disciples." (Jesus Christ)
The power of love is infinite and omnipresent, wielding the authority and wisdom of God, above the mind and intentions of man; severing and initiating relationships; blessing and anointing; healing and enlightening; judging and sentencing, while carrying out the Holy business of the Father's perfect righteousness, His Holy and indisputable justice. This is the solid food of perfect righteousness.
It is good for us to wait on the Lord to act, for in doing so, we not only fulfill the Law of Christ, we also love the people concerned with the patience and wisdom of the Holy Spirit Himself, thereby joining our ministries to the awesome, unconquerable authority, the unrelenting influence and power of God's Church on earth, as it is in heaven.
Romans + 8:38 "For I am certain of this: neither death nor life, no angle, no prince, nothing that exists, nothing still to come, not any power, or height or depth, nor any created thing, can ever come between us and the love of God made visible in Christ Jesus our Lord."
1 Corinthians + 13:4 "Love is always patient and kind; it is never jealous; love is never boastful or conceited; it is never rude or selfish; it does not take offence, and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people's sins but delights in the truth; it is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes. Love does not come to an end."
1 Corinthians + 13:2 "...without love I am nothing"
1 John + 4:17 "Love will come to perfection within us when we can face the Day of Judgment without fear; because even in this world we have become as he (Jesus) is."
In the name of Jesus Christ Amen John Christopher
