[Awake4HisReturn] Jesus Is Coming Back
Jesus is coming back! This is what everything revolves around. Jesus is coming back to reign on the earth.
This world is so corrupt now that if he didn't come back we would totally destroy ourselves and the earth itself. All the leaders and those backing them are totally corrupt.
Even many of the leaders in the church are corrupted. Jesus will come back and set everything straight.
Jesus preached that the kingdom of God was coming and that he would be the one to bring it.
His coming again marks the beginning of the kingdom of God. This is mostly what the old testament is all about.
The message of the old testament is that the kingdom of God is coming. The message of the new testament is that the kingdom of God is coming.
In fact that was the gospel that Jesus was teaching. That is actually what the gospel is.
The kingdom of God is coming so get yourselves ready. Jesus preached the kingdom and many in his day thought that he was going to set it up right then.
When he rode in on the donkey in Jerusalem they thought that it was here. But then a few days later they arrested him and those same people were saying "Crucify him, crucify him." They lost faith when they didn't see it happening.
He had to go to the cross first to make atonement for their sins. It is still on for the kingdom of God to come as soon as he returns. The plan has not changed. He's coming to reign and we will reign with him if we endure till the end.
He's coming and we will reign with him for a thousand years. He's coming to fulfill the promises God made to our forefathers. Nothing has changed as far as the promises of God.
Everything is fulfilled in Christ. There is neither Jew or Gentile. We are all one in Christ. All the promises are fulfilled in Christ the Jew. There is no difference now.
Repent and believe the gospel. The kingdom of God is near.
