EAST ASIA PARTNERSHIP STRATEGIES. Workers sometimes do not realize how much the
culture has changed in their home country and do not know how best to
communicate with their partners there. On the other hand, sometimes those
partners do not know how best to communicate with the workers. Pray that workers
and their partners will make an effort to find out how they can best communicate
with each other so that they will have a strong relationship and can effectively
work together to bring the Gospel to the lost of East Asia.

MOROCCO. Jesus values women. He cast demons out of Mary Magdalene. He raised a
widow?s son. He revealed His identity to the woman at the well. Women were among
His group of followers. Jesus desires women to follow Him. In some countries,
women are greatly depreciated and have little or no standing. Morocco, however,
is fairly progressive and women do have societal standing. But even with their
societal standing, in the collective cultural mind, spiritually they are of less
value than men. This is a barrier to the Gospel in Moroccan society. Although
men may choose to follow Him, they may not see women as worthy of the gift of
Jesus? salvation. But Jesus loves women. Pray for the women of Morocco to
understand that Jesus is for women as well as men. Pray for the men of Morocco
who know Jesus to love the women in their lives like Jesus loves them and to
share with them His salvation.
