i think the focus from god's perspective is not about storing up things for ourselves.. it is more about getting obedient to Him via His Word.. It is not wealth that is going to protect us. it is god.. look what he did for Isreal when God led Moses out of Egpyt they were in the wilderness for like 40 years... who provided the bread by causing to dew like manna to appear on the ground every morning, who provided to meat when the people wanted meat. who gave them water out of a stone.... did he tell them to save there money,? no ! he was their provider their source . can He do the same for us? yes , i beleive He can and willl. we got to quit trying to figure out how we are to help God do things.. and learn to really trust Him.. I don't know about anyone else but I know it is what i need to do......i need to let Him be my God.. i want to do what it says in the latter part of corinthians where God says if we will be his people he will be our God. don't think about stock piling wealth or riches that is one key that got us all this troubles from people doing just that...
