Jesus said you cannot serve God and money. They just don't mix. God wants us to trust in Him. God wants us to serve Him. He does not want us to serve idols.
Did you know most people look at money as their God? People will do most anything for money. Some people will even sell their soul for money. They seek money with all their hearts. Everything in their lives revolves around money. They love it. The serve it. They worship it. Shouldn't we seek God with all our hearts?
Shouldn't we serve and worship Him? Do you see how money can be an idol? The funny thing is that money has engraved in it "In God we trust". Who will you serve, God or money?
