Did you know that the life of Jesus is our perfect example?
Everything that Jesus is we should be too. It says that when he comes we will
be like him. Jesus went through everything that we go through so he understands
and feels what it is like. Because he went through it he can make intercession
for us. Let's take a look at the end of his life and see how it mirrors our
lives.
Jesus was persecuted because he didn't go with the flow. We too are persecuted
when we don't go along with orthodoxy or follow the crowd. They even called
Jesus the devil. How much more will the call us the devil. He was falsely
accused just as we will be when we stand for the truth.
He was smitten and spit on by many of the same people who were singing his
praises a few days before when he came into Jerusalem on a donkey. We too will
be forsaken by the ones who we thought loved us. Jesus' own family didn't even
believe him. His own friend turned him into the authorities. This is wha
