Re: [FamilyofGod] Trinity
I feel that many do not realize that the things of this world aren't all that is important. Even churches who are supposed to be evangelical don't preach on laying off the deceptive and selfish things of this world and concentrate on building a solid relationship with our saviour. Didn't he say to follow Him and He will give us the desires of our hearts. Can it be more simple?

HEAR, O ISRAEL: THE HaShem OUR GOD, THE HaShem IS ONE.
And thou shalt love HaShem thy G-d with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
This is from Deut. 6. Jesus quoted this scripture then added a second.
"Love thy neighbor as thyself".
He said all the commandment are fulfilled in these.
What I am wondering is why many followers started to say that God was three. He'd be rolling in the grave if he was still in the grave. I would think he may be a little angry when he comes back. What do you think? Is God one as Jesus quoted or is he three as the future councils decreed?
