Col 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Col 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, [do] all in ...the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. We are told to let the word dwell in us richly. For that to happen you must first learn what that word says. After we have the word dwelling in us we are to teach and make sure we are walking the word. What so ever we do do it in the name of the Lord. It is no longer for the glory of Don I do things but to glorify God. There is a word many of us used to use the word is imagineer. We have to see ourselves accomplishing things for God. Be it winning someone for God or healing the sick, or raising the dead. Change your thinking about yourself and see yourself doing great things for God. See yourself in your minds eye being dynamic. Winning people for God one at a time till they can stand for themselves. See yourself ministering healing and casting out devils and raising the dead. DON"T tell you can't because it says in the word: Mat 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. We have been taught all our lives you can't well I'm here to tell you the word says you CAN . That settles the matter now it is a question of do I want to? You change the picture you carry of yourself and you will see things starting to change. God gives jobs to those who are willing and able to do them. If you want to work for God you need 2 things a knowledge of his word and what it says to do and a willing heart. You combine those 2 things and you will see God go to work for you so you can work for him.
