Re: [FamilyofGod] new faith
The only thing you can do is to stay in prayer, Shelley. It is hard to have faith when you are in pain. I will continue to lift you up in prayer where ever I go and I'm sure everyone else will do the same. As unappealing as it sounds, our job is to wait upon the Lord. Lift God up in song and wait upon the Lord. Hang in there.

I have had wavering faith for a long time. I have tried to "control" things and kidded myself into believing I was "letting go and letting God". After many years of this kind of faith, I have come to the stark realization that I was one of those folks who showed up at church with a Christian mask. It has been hard for me to be patient to see God work and in many issues in my life, I haven't seen what I'd like to see. But somehow I know this is the path one needs to take.
Acts 22:10 says "So, I said, what shall I do Lord?" And the Lord said to me, "Arise and go into Damascus, and there you shall be told all things which are appointed for you to do."
I wonder how different our lives would be if we would all take the time to ask God, "What shall I do Lord?"
