RECAP: I received notification that my 2nd job as an RTS (f-t position) will change from 3pm-11pm to 5pm-1am beginning May 1st. Which means I will not be permitted to sleep during those hours and I will have to balance my p-t job as an Admin. Asst. (8am-12:15pm) and school (1pm-2:15pm) until God intervenes.
Oh Lord, hear my prayers and answer my cries for the marriage and salvation of my husband, our four children, our parents, our family, the Body of Christ, our friends, out leaders, our co-workers, and our enemies. Grant each one of them the blessed gifts of brokenness, repentance, confession, faith, and salvation along with sanctification and service in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. AMEN!!!

Hello Everyone,
Yesterday, I wanted to come to you seeking prayer for my current situation (brief recap of last post below), bcuase my 2nd (RTS) job continues to madate me for overtime on my days off, as they are doing today. I have an appointment to see the dentist for root canal work, plus I needed today and tomorrow to work on my midterm that is due. In addition, I started getting harrassed on the job by my Supervisor/Director who has been nasty toward everyone, and those in her office. This RTS job is killing me, they removed me out of my positon, which I bid for and received, and moved another woman in it so she could have my FRI/SAT off. Now I will be forced to work 7days a week on two jobs, bouncing from job site to job site. This job has me in tears just cryinhg out to God. In any event, I am still waiting to hear about my Admin. Asst. position. Although when/if I go full-time, this will subject me to ga possibility of getting bumped and laid-off, however, with my RTS job I could not collect and would have to work elsewhere to support us, with perhaps more hours than the AA position. However, I have begun to fast and pray, not so much for my circumstances but for the entire state of Nevada, and it may seem like an oxymoron, I need for you to join me in a specific prayer that God will literally shake the "high horses of their golden seats". By this I mean Sin City (Las Vegas), the capital of Anti-God where our governamental leaders love to carouse and spend their time on riotous living. Do you realized that gambling, prostitution, and other sins financially support this state? The people pay no taxes and rest on sin to take them where they are going. The people are crying out for change and are even asking for state taxes to be implemented but the "powers to be" are not listening. In any event, I am seeking prayer partners to ask God to shake the sandy foundation in which Nevada was built in order that the people can put there trust upon the firm Rock of Jesus Christ. That God, will intervene, and prepare the hearts of godly men and women for the tasks He has assign them to in evangelizing a complacent and unbelieving people. If its an earthquake that shatters the 'golden seat" of sin in Nevada, to disrupt operations, then let it be so. Whatever it takes, God needs to wake up the Christians here to pray, seek His face, and fullfil the Great Commission, instead of appethetically accepting the ruling power of sin to pay the bill here. Yes, to ask for this request will mean harder times here in Nevada, at least for a while, but I would rather put my trust in a God I cannot see, than a government that hates Him. In all of this, I believe this is why God brought me here to Nevada, to pray for this purpose and to encourage others to do also. God has allowed me not to get comfortable with who is supplying my paycheck. Seriously, what does this look like in His eyes? In addition, the Legislature here is supporting a budget to increase more "like minded business" to produce more of the same kind of funding, reduces education, safety, human services, and refuses to tax the people to support this.
I voted Republican, this past election, and even for our current Govenor, because I felt he was the better representation of morality, since my 1st choice did not make it through. God's protective hand is moving away from Nevada, and allowing them to reap what they have sown, but He has still given us time to repent, and seek His face, and to not take the "bribe of sin" to financially sustain us. Please pray with me. I believe all that I am going through is to pray for this purpose, even if that means my life gets more difficult in the process.

Over the next few weeks or months I will be notified whether or not I will be laid off as an Admin. Asst. or if I will segway into the f-t (8am-5pm) slot when my position is merged with another p-t Admin. Asst. positon. If the woman with seniority elects to retire, then the position automatically goes to me. However, I will still need prayer because budget cuts may cause me to be bumped resulting in a layoff.
If I get the f-t Admin. Asst. I can leave the other job, for this position will be adequate in supporting my daughter and me for our basic needs, whereas if I lose it I will have to stay at the RTS 5pm-1am position and take on a 2nd f-t job and leave school.
