Mr Bill "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" Clinton, a man who knowingly lied to the nation on live television at the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal, has called for the creation of an Internet 'ministry of truth' style organization that would be run by the federal government or the UN to address "misinformation and rumors floating on the Internet."

Couching the idea in the kind of doublespeak rhetoric that would make George Orwell roll in his grave, Clinton said that the agency would have to be "independent" and "transparent," but that it would be created and run by the federal government – a complete oxymoron.

The former president said that the organization "Would have to be an independent federal agency that no president could countermand or anything else because people wouldn't think you were just censoring the news and giving a different falsehood out."

No matter how many fluffy, friendly and democratic words he attaches to the proposal, Clinton is basically calling for the creation of a state-run media outlet in the mould of Communist China. He says it should operate like, "National Public Radio or BBC or something like that, except it would have to be really independent and they would not express opinions, and their mandate would be narrowly confined to identifying relevant factual errors."

In other words, as his wife Hillary bemoaned recently, the US military-industrial complex is "losing the information war" to independent media outlets and something needs to be done to redress the balance because too many people are stumbling across that habitual irritant to the power elite – the truth.

Despite admitting that the organization would have "no credibility whatever, particularly with a lot of the people who are most active on the internet," Clinton said that such an agency was necessary to counter "misinformation and rumors floating on the Internet," reports Politico.

This is Cass Sunstein's "cognitive infiltration" on steroids. Harvard law professor Sunstein, Obama's information czar, has demanded websites be mandated by law to link to opposing information or that pop ups containing government propaganda be forcibly included on political blogs.

In a 2008 article published in the Journal of Political Philosophy, Sunstein outlined a plan for the government to stealthily infiltrate groups that pose alternative theories on historical events via "chat rooms, online social networks, or even real-space groups and attempt to undermine" those groups.
On page 14 of Sunstein's January 2008 white paper entitled

"Conspiracy Theories," he proposed that "under imaginable conditions" the government "might ban conspiracy theorizing" and could "impose some kind of tax, financial or otherwise, on those who disseminate such theories."

Sunstein's definition of "conspiracy theories" includes ideas shared by the majority of American people, such as the notion that the JFK assassination occurred as part of a wider plot, as well as the belief that the threat of global warming has been hyped by governments and global institutions. Both of these ideas would be examples of thought crime under Sunstein's regime.

Bill Clinton's call for a government-run ministry of truth is a brazen attempt to implement Sunstein's dangerous anti-free speech agenda.

During Hillary's call for the empire to strike back in the information war, she made particular reference to Russia Today as well as media platforms, and the fact that they were "winning" because they actually dared to act like "real news" organizations, asking questions of authority and investigating stories, and not like the US mainstream press, which acts as nothing more than an obedient, supine clearinghouse for government propaganda.

Russia Today, which regularly provides a voice to the likes of Alex Jones, Max Keiser, Wayne Madsen, Paul Craig Roberts and Webster Tarpley, has played an instrumental role in filling the gaps left by the castrated US corporate media by reporting on real news issues and actually having the temerity to question talking points put out by the White House – this is what the Clintons both want to see neutralized with a new ministry of truth run by the feds.

Indeed, when Russia Today attempted to put up promotional billboards in US airports encouraging viewers to think about both sides of a story, the ads were summarily banned.

That's exactly why the likes of Bill and Hillary Clinton are demanding a more aggressive psychological warfare assault on the American people – they want to create an unthinking mass that instantly accepts what they are told by government as the absolute truth, despite the fact that the US government itself has proven itself to be the pre-eminent global leader in lies and deceit, while all dissenting voices will be crushed under Cass Sunstein's thought crime information blockade.

A must read for anyone who wonders "how did we get here?",
Before I believe a source, I check into their history. So it is with the Fabian Society.

Organized in 1884, founding members included the daughter of Karl Marx - the father of communism and its sibling offshoots. Obscure history (by that I mean facts you have to dig and hunt for) has been a hobby of mine for about 20 years. I find the truth to be stranger than fiction, and the long trail of the Fabian Society (and its successful policy of "penetrate and permeate") is truly incredible. Like a seed, an idea well planted will grow on its own after a bit of nurturing. So it is with Fabian Socialism. They have shaped so much of the way the world is, and few realize it.

One recent fact: The Fabian Society acquired - and sealed - the archives of Eric Blair (better known as "1984" author George Orwell) when his wife died some years ago. Orwell became disenchanted with the Fabian Society and it is now thought his book was really aimed at the kind of world he believed the Fabian Society would achieve.

As one source put it "A careful review of the literary evidence reveals that he was aiming at the period immediately following the year 2000 but wanted to memorialize the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Fabian Society." -AND- "I once inquired through a literary agent who was a friend of Sonia Orwell, the writer's second wife, whether 1984 might be a satirical polemic directed at the Fabians. She giggled nervously and remarked that perhaps that was right. And the Fabian Society once more has catapulted itself into the picture because, upon the death of Sonia Orwell, rights to George's estate fell under control of -- the Fabian Society. According to representatives of HarperCollins, the Fabians will be in control of the 1984 copyright and name through the year 2025 and will do their best to block unauthorized investigative research about Orwell's anti-socialist works." -AND- "The Fabian logo was the turtle, not the hare. Fabians believed they could be successful in taking over national governments incrementally even if it took 100 years. So why wouldn't Orwell take them at their word?"

This is just the tip of the iceberg, but you'll have to dig up the rest for yourself. My best sources were old books. Sometimes it would be tidbits, like one fascinating paragraph I found in a 1938 History textbook. The paragraph stated "On their honeymoon, Eleanor Roosevelt took her husband Franklin Delano Roosevelt to visit her old friends, Sydney and Beatrice Webb" Fact is, the Webb's were the main backbone of the Fabian Society from its beginning. So here we have an early socialist influence on an American president before he came to office. Tell me, where will you find that interesting item in today's history?

Sometimes it would be full books, like "Fabian Freeway" by Rose Martin - a former Fabian. This is the book that got me started, and it is an awesome place to start. Sometimes I find it hard to accept some of her allegations, but she was a member and knows the inside facts...

So, if you ever wonder "How did we get here", do the research. You'll be glad you did.

Government Orders You Tube To Censor Protest Videos

In a frightening example of how the state is tightening its grip around the free Internet, it has emerged that You Tube is complying with thousands of requests from governments to censor and remove videos that show protests and other examples of citizens simply asserting their rights, while also deleting search terms by government mandate.

The latest example is You Tube's compliance with a request from the British government to censor footage of the British Constitution Group's Lawful Rebellion protest, during which they attempted to civilly arrest Judge Michael Peake at Birkenhead county court.

Peake was ruling on a case involving Roger Hayes, former member of UKIP, who has refused to pay council tax, both as a protest against the government's treasonous activities in sacrificing Britain to globalist interests and as a result of Hayes clearly proving that council tax is illegal.

Hayes has embarked on an effort to legally prove that the enforced collection of council tax by government is unlawful because no contract has been agreed between the individual and the state. His argument is based on the sound legal principle that just like the council, Hayes can represent himself as a third party in court and that "Roger Hayes" is a corporation and must be treated as one in the eyes of the law.

The British government doesn't want this kind of information going viral in the public domain because it is scared stiff of a repeat of the infamous poll tax riots of 1990, a massive tax revolt in the UK that forced the Thatcher government to scrap the poll tax altogether because of mass civil disobedience and refusal to pay.

When viewers in the UK attempt to watch videos of the protest, they are met with the message, "This content is not available in your country due to a government removal request."

We then click through to learn that, "YouTube occasionally receives requests from governments around the world to remove content from our site, and as a result, YouTube may block specific content in order to comply with local laws in certain countries."

You can also search by country to discover that Google, the owner of You Tube, has complied with the majority of requests from governments, particularly in the United States and the UK, not only to remove You Tube videos, but also specific web search terms and thousands of "data requests," meaning demands for information that would reveal the true identity of a You Tube user. Google claims that the information sent to governments is "needed for legitimate criminal investigations," but whether these "data requests" have been backed up by warrants is not divulged by the company.

"Between July 1 and Dec. 31 (2009), Google received 3,580 requests for user data from U.S. government agencies, slightly less than the 3,663 originating from Brazil," reports PC World. "The United Kingdom and India sent more than 1,000 requests each, and smaller numbers originated from various other countries."

With regard to search terms, one struggles to understand how a specific combination of words in a Google search can be considered a violation of any law. This is about government and Google working hand in hand to manipulate search results in order to censor inconvenient information, something which Google now freely admits to doing.

You Tube's behavior is more despicable than the Communist Chinese, who are at least open about their censorship policies, whereas You Tube hides behind a blanket excuse and doesn't even say what law has been broken.

Anyone who swallows the explanation that the videos were censored in this case because the government was justifiably enforcing a law that says scenes from inside a court room cannot be filmed is beyond naive. Court was not even in session in the protest footage that was removed, and the judge had already left the courtroom.

The real reason for the removal is the fact that the British government is obviously petrified of seeing a group of focused and educated citizens, black, white, old and young, male and female, go head to head with the corrupt system on its own stomping ground.

In their efforts to keep a lid on the growing populist fury that has arrived in response to rampant and growing financial and political tyranny in every sector of society, governments in the west are now mimicking Communist Chinese-style Internet censorship policies in a bid to neutralize protest movements, while hypocritically lecturing the rest of the world on maintaining web freedom.

Via a combination of cybersecurity legislation and policy that is hastily introduced with no real oversight, governments and large Internet corporations are crafting an environment where the state can simply demand information be removed on a whim with total disregard for freedom of speech protections.

This was underscored last year at the height of the Wikileaks issue, when Amazon axed Wikileaks from its servers following a phone call made by Senator Joe Lieberman's Senate Homeland Security Committee demanding the website be deleted.

Lieberman has been at the forefront of a push to purge the Internet of all dissent by empowering Obama with a figurative Internet kill switch that he would use to shut down parts of the Internet or terminate websites under the guise of national security. Lieberman spilled the beans on the true reason for the move during a CNN interview when he stated "Right now China, the government, can disconnect parts of its Internet in case of war and we need to have that here too."

Except that China doesn't disconnect the Internet "in case of war," it only ever does so to censor and intimidate people who express dissent against government atrocities or corruption, as we have documented. This is precisely the kind of online environment the British and American governments are trying to replicate as they attempt to put a stranglehold on the last bastion of true free speech – the world wide web.
