[FamilyofGod] Update on prayer requests
God is a Mighty God, and a faithful God is He. I give Him Praise and honor for hearing our prayers and answering our cries. May His name be glorified!!!
Update!
· My brother A.J. is out of ICU and in a private room; the doctors are revisiting the possibility of Lyme disease. His vitals are up, but he is weak and continually in need of prayers. I know that all this is for His glory in Christ Jesus and that my brother and all the lives that he touches are in His capable hands.
· Our daughter, J. (17), is in desperate need of prayers. She is still missing and we are deeply concerned of her whereabouts and her condition. Her "friends" are not giving up any information, but we do know that she is using again. I have turned to the Lord, but my husband drives to and fro trying to find her and remedy the situation, instead of submitting to God. I know that what we are all going through is for our good and His glory. Although it is painful, I trust Him completely with each one of us. I trust His wisdom, protection, guidance, and all His ways. If this is what we have to go through so that they can be saved, then so be it! It is better that we suffer a little in comparison to the glories to be had with our Lord and Savior in heaven for all eternity, rather than to inherit the whole world and lose our souls. Pleas pray for J., R., A., E., and EA. for repentance, salvation, rededication, sanctification and service for the kingdom.
· I have just received verbal confirmation that I will be able to continue my part-time employment with the job I love at the college. In addition, it is currently in the works to hire me on as a full-time employee, and although many obstacles have been removed there are still some in the way. This position will enable me to reduce or eliminate my hours at the 2nd job so that I can spend time with my daughters, work on my marriage, spend more time in prayer and praise, and get the rest I need, among other things.
· I still have not heard anything more about my auto injury case from my attorney. He is a godly man, a father of three small children who loves his wife dearly. He is not greedy but works unto the Lord. He doesn't have much, but he has spent so much on my case and will not get paid if there is no compensation. Please pray for him as he negotiates with the insurance company on my behalf and that God will bless the works of his hands.
· My prayer and praise life is up!!! I celebrate the joy of my salvation, Jesus Christ!!! It feels so good to be spiritually home with the Lord as I once was and to wake up greeting Him with joy in my heart every morning. My strength has been renewed and the spiritual oppression has been lifted. Thank you for praying.

Oh Lord, hear my prayers and answer my cries for the marriage and salvation of my husband, our four children, our parents, our family, the Body of Christ, our friends, our leaders, our co-workers, and our enemies. Grant each one of them the blessed gifts of brokenness, repentance, confession, faith, and salvation along with sanctification and service in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. AMEN!!!
