Ray: It's their hermeneutic. The Restoration Movement uses methods of interpretation, namely CENI, that is not to be found anywhere beyond the group. There are many other hermeneutical differences, but their foundational approach to scripture is drastically different from the denominations.
ED: Here is an interesting example of misinformation! Surely common sense will demonstrate it. Since the RM had a unique method of interpretation, namely CENI (tongue in cheek), we would never consult a commentary or read a book or be able to carry on a conversation with a denominational person. Nonsense. coc reads and studies the Bible just like everyone else! We consult commentaries of various stripes, study word studies, consult encyclopedias, classic works by linguistic experts, concordances, on and on; just as all do.
