Clay: I'm think you would do well to stop arguing against me, as if "I" am the one that is demanding of God do anything my Brother Seems to me Bro Ed it is "YOU" that demand God turn your hand picked examples of a freed people into Law so that He, God will be forced to recognize you as the REAL CHURCH.
ED: I first put forward "the essence of worship." You replied objecting. So I have efforted to further explain. You asked for "commands" and I explained that the command is John 4 "worship in spirit and truth" and therefore I am confortable looking to see what was done in spirit and truth under apostolic supervision and copying it. You tell me I must have commands for each specific thing I copy. I don't believe God has to reveal His will that way; that examples will do. There is our simple difference.
Clay: Now let us think Bro Ed, who is it that "CLAIMS" they have "RESTORED" the New Testament church ........... just for God? Sounds prideful to me for any uninspired man to dare even to mutter those words.
ED: If I have spoken pridefully, I am not aware of it. All I am trying to do is to do what I can confidently practice as NT practice. If that is prideful, then I do not know the meaning of the word. You often use the word "uninspired" in reference to others you answer. Why do you do that? Do you mean to suggest that they are not reading and studying the Bible just as you are trying to do? Is their a veiled insult here? Just a question.
