Not one jot or tittle of the NT existed for 15 years. During that time, the Apostles taught everything from the OT. This is the context of my point and it was the context of Ed's question as well.
And I also confess freely that when Paul himself refers to scripture, he is refering exclusively to the OT. I will agree fully that the NT was, in time, considered inspired, but the specific concept of 'scripture' is purely Jewish at the time, and Paul is refering to the OT only.
