Thanks for the post. Yes, we cannot dwell on what could have been. Learn from the mistake and move on with the lesson. . Reconciliation with God takes the guilt away. Great positive thought.

I have been reading the postings regarding "guilt". I just wanted to say that in my experience and with the help of God, I learned that I was thinking that to "put it away" did not mean that it would make the particular happening go away. It happened, yes it is over, but it happened and needs to be accepted as such. What I was missing was the knowledge that because of that happening, even though it was pretty bad and hurtful, I had been giving a wonderful gift. The gift to learn from it. So instead of the guilt attacking me, I get ahold of the guilt and make it work for me. It is a great testament to God.

Now when I see different things going on I access my knowledge of different things, usually the ones where I fell on my face, and am able to steer clear/change direction of that particular happening. What a wonderful gift it has been. It protects me from many things now. A perfect example of how God turns bad to good.
