[Church_of_Christ] Re: Truth for the world
Greetings Ray, ED
I see you are still making the same false claims as in the past. About a
month ago I posted quotations from Reformation leaders who spoke of
restoration. Have you never read of Zwingli, of the Anabaptists, of
Mennon and others? They were all interested in recovering pure
Christianity however it applied. The Restoration is about church
practices but it is also about all primitive Christian faith and
practice.

over from Catholicism and was taken up by Protestant Churches. It
appears to me that when people left the Catholic Church during the
Reformation they did not quite know what to do so they adopted some of
the traditions that they were use to in the Catholic Church. Anyway

never an intention of leaving the Catholic practices. The Reformation
was concerned with two things: Faith alone salvation and scriptures for
everyone.

them. They had no concept like Alexander Campbell of finding
'authority' for practices. There's was a REFORMATION of soteriology,
not church practices.
