[Church_of_Christ] Re: Truth for the world
Greetings Clay, ED
I see you are at it again. Have you forgotten? "Latreuo" in Greek is the
word for "service" and applies to all a Christian does in presenting his
life a pleasing offering to the Lord. "proskuneo" in Greek is the word
for "worship" and means those times we focus our mind on the Lord with
the intention of adoration and praise to him. All is service; only that
which is mindful and intended as worship is worship. Accompanying our
mindful adoration of the Lord are the means of expression; song, prayer,
etc. which you call physical and which indeed involves some physical
action. These actions are used during the service designated for worship
to express the adoration and praise of God. They are those which we find
used by the NT assembly. What is so wrong with that?

existed and exist in the hearts of men under the New Covenant. True you
see them under the Old Covenant.
