oh Molly, my muslim husband hates Christians and he really hates me (stays for the kids)[[he himself has said this, and to him if I say that Jesus loves him, he would laugh and say jokes about it]]. I hope someone will one day speak to him about Jesus ( he gets furious if I just say the name). I've been overseas. In many places the name Jesus and the Cross offends people. we pray for the opportunity to give people enough information to make a choice. That's all we can do, and yet it is so hard luv, barbara

Faith is a personal choice. Living clean lives without hurting anyone by words or acts , is the choice we need to make . We believe in Jesus Christ and His redemptive power. Some choose not to see Jesus as divine. It is like I said a personal choice. We can tell others about Jesus, but it is upto the person whether to receive it or not. Jehovah's witnesses firmly believe in their theology, just like Hindus , Muslims, Zoroastrians and Buddhists. In an ideal world they shouldn't criticize our faith in believing in Jesus. Likewise we should tolerate individual beliefs. Love is the key. Love one another as Jesus taught us and spread the gospel of love. Then we might look acceptable in God's sight.
Yours in Christ, Molly

I was in a group at the time I was even more confused than now. I discussed the possibility of me studying with the Jehovah's Witnesses, even though the list rules told us not to get into arguments. I was rightly kicked out.
later on, when I apologized and tried to go back in with the condition that I wont get into any of that again, I was not allowed in. And this really hurt. I considered them brothers and sisters.
I am wondering if Christians are obliged to give second chances. I was never rude, just perhaps argumentative. I am wondering if I am too needy of love and acceptance.
how do I handle rejection? there are other groups who like me. Is it my ego, then? I had a desire to make things right, but it was denied. I am wondering if you've ever been through the same luv, barbara |
