 I must ask, did you know this man?
 
 Could it be possible that you (we) are guilty of the very thing you accuse Dr. Baxter of below?
 
 We do know the early Christians did assemble on the first day of the week from scripture.  This sure seems like a "thus saith the lord to me."
 
 Yes, you are correct in that laws have been made where God has made none.  I was listening to David Jeremiah speak to the topic of assembling together just yesterday.  He said "YES you can be a Christian and not go to church. But why would you want to do that".  I agree with him.
