Perhaps I am reading from the "unauthorized" translation and THAT is why I fail to see an assembly

being required to save up in a sock, in the corner of my drawer, on a weekly basis so that Paul wouldn't

have to wait while I sheered my sheep and carry the wool to market and receive a currency for it, so that

could more easily be carried to those needy saints for the construction of the FIRST church building and

hiring of the First Pulpit Preacher along with staff, so that they could scripturally (thus saith the Lord) go

Isn't that how we got into this MESS of being so divisive with "OTHER" sincere, humble followers of the Christ, as Dr. Batsell Barret Baxter was? Going beyond what's written and failing to adhere to commands that disagree with our "current" practice of Catholic lite?

Either it's OK to go beyond what's written or it is not.

I'm thinking IF we stuck to commands, we would still be laying by in store, upon the first day of the week

for the "needy" saints in Judea and they may by now, have at least what we have. That is if Paul hadn't have died. Paul's death didn't change Romans 14, but it sure does CHANGE examples, doesn't it?

Let me add, no one is being critical of "others" following examples, we just wish thos in the CoC/SOF

would STOP being divisive when others do not elect to do so.
