a denomination accepts what that denomination believes
and teaches and are not allowed to disagree with that denomination.
Let's use yours for an example, you would ask me to accept the "trinity" and all the teachings that go along with that teaching. Well Church of Christ do not require that.
I am satisfied that at Joelton where that is not required, that there
are several beliefs as to the relationships between God the Father, Jesus the Christ and God's Holy SPirit have with the other.
You told me a couple of days ago "IF" I didn't say I accept the Trinity doctrine I could go some where else and prior to that you said you wouldn't want me as member there.
That's how I would answer your question.
Followers at Joelton are Free to read the text and determine in their
own hearts and mind what the scriptures teach and not what a particular denomination would "require" them to "accept" simply because some board some where decided what that denomination would teach.
Does that make sense?
